Brittany Cartwright slams “The Snake” Jax Taylor

What a way to end the season. Viewers of Bravo’s new hit The Valley have witnessed its demise Jax Taylor And Brittany Cartwright Marriage every week.

Although they knew about the couple’s breakup before the season started, fans did not know the details. This is something that Jax and Brittany were keen to tease while promoting the show. Last night’s finale provided some of those details and fans saw two very different sides to the breakup story.

Brittany is clearly fed up

During the episode, Brittany called their relationship “toxic” and called his attempt to seek professional help a “front.”

The show had already stopped filming but the cameras returned to rolling once the couple separated, leading to a tense confrontation between the two.

“You’re not going to get away with the way you’ve treated me all these years because you want to sit there and act cool and calm and collected, you’re not,” Brittany told Jax.

After he admitted that he had scheduled a therapy appointment, Brittany remained unimpressed. “I did it yesterday, right before the cameras rolled,” she said. “The day before the cameras were backed up, suddenly he had an appointment to see a doctor? This is all a front. This is what he wants everyone to see and believe that he is doing these things for a change. “I bet you money he wouldn’t do that.”

“You’re not going to get away with the way you’ve treated me all these years,” Brittany stated.

“It means like a king snake.”

The baby’s mother went on to tell viewers that “a lot has happened with me and Jax” since the cameras stopped rolling. According to Brittany, as things got worse, Jax refused to leave the house, leading her to stay in an Airbnb with their young son.

“It shows how selfish Jax is. The fact that I had to leave with Cruz, instead of him leaving. He would go out to a bar, come home and have such a terrible hangover that he would be as mean as the King Serpent.”

For his part, Jax said in his confessional that he “never thought I would be in the position I am in now.”

“It’s been an amazing 9 years. I have no regrets. I love Brittany, and I love my wife,” Jax said as the episode ended.

You can now stream the entire season of The Valley on Peacock.
