Brittany Cartwright “Recovered” by Babysitter Lala Kent

Apparently, Brittany Cartwright and her former Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent In a dispute… over the babysitter. How times have changed.

The Valley star claimed she was “kind of thrown” when Lala brought up the topic during a Pump Rules reunion in May. “I didn’t know she was going to talk about it,” Britt said. She and Lala had already reconciled and apologized to each other long before the reunion aired.

“We were totally fine, everything was fine,” the Kentucky native added. “So I was… like, ‘Why is this being talked about at the reunion?’

Nonsense nanny

On the June 7 episode of her podcast When Reality Hits, Britt added that she was “kidnapped [a]Back,” Lala comments. “I didn’t really understand and still don’t really understand this part, but I love Lala.”

Unlike many of his current and former co-stars, Jax’s Studio City owner resisted the temptation to clap back. She kept her response “short and sweet” just like Brittany.

It all started when Brittany texted Lala’s mother, Lisa Burningham, on the day Lala revealed the gender of her second child. The Utah native was angry at Brett for acting “ridiculously out of pocket.”

“Don’t text my mom the day I know we’re having a baby and say, ‘Did you really hire a babysitter without our permission?'” Lala fumed. “If it wasn’t Brittany, my mom would have slapped that person the next time she saw her.” In it…Are you kidding?”

The VPR alum apologetically captioned her angry text by arguing that her now-estranged husband Jax Taylor was “screaming” at her.

“Well, then you should ask Jax to call me so I can eat him alive instead,” Lala replied.

Brittany explains it all

After admitting she made a “mistake” when she sent the original text, Cruz’s mother felt her message was “nice.” “I would never be rude or mean to anyone,” she explained. “My mistake was writing the letter that day. I shouldn’t have done that. I immediately apologized for it.”

“It took us a long time to find someone we trusted for Cruz,” Brett continued. “He needs certain constant people in his life… That’s why it was important to me. Not because of anything else. If I had known or [been] Asked, I would have said: Yes, of course, do it. Use it for today! It was just shock value.

Meanwhile, Britt says she and Lala are “doing fine,” though she “felt pretty bummed out about bringing it up” during the reunion.

Britt is going through a breakup and Lala is pregnant, so, understandably, emotions are running high. I hope they can get their friendship back on track because it looks like they’re going to be single moms and it takes a village.

All episodes of The Valley and Vanderpump Rules are now streaming on Peacock.
