Bravo’s reality show Snowbirds is already in chaos

Remember when we told you about Snow birdsIt’s a reality show reportedly being pitched to Bravo and is loosely based on Apple TV’s Palm Royale. The show is supposed to follow a group of New York City socialites who travel to Palm Beach, Florida to do rich-people things.

On paper, this show sounds great. There are even rumors that Harry Dubin from Real Housewives of New York is set to join this new group of older women. In reality, production has started to go awry, and insiders seem to be doing their best to get the show back on track.

The Snowbirds got off to a rough start.

Page Six originally got the lowdown on the messy drama going on behind the scenes at Snowbirds . Initially, we shared that the cast would include Sharon Bush, Cindy Goyer, Jill Brophy, Jen Scheer, Jay Clark, and Harrison Morgan. If you don’t recognize any of these people’s names, that’s totally okay. You may not need to remember them.

Sources say that Jen has already left the show, or perhaps was never on it in the first place. Over the weekend, the cast filmed two events, and Jen was nowhere to be found. An insider claimed that this is because no one thought Jen deserved to be a part of the group.

“She didn’t film anything, and no one wanted to be filmed with her. She’s an important person and no one wants to be associated with her,” the source claimed.

Meanwhile, Jane denies everything. She told the newspaper that someone is “lying” about all this. According to her, there wasn’t even an offer to begin with.

She said, “There is no offer! There is no offer! There is no offer, and whoever leaked this is full of bullshit! If I were you, I would stop writing about Snowbirds, because it’s not true! It’s all bullshit!”

With Jen (possibly) out of the picture, producers are reportedly looking to replace her with Rachel Uchitel. Known for being Tiger Woods’ mistress, she has since changed her name to podcast host. A production source said she has attended two cast events over the past few days and has been making waves.

Like Jen’s casting, Rachel’s involvement isn’t necessarily clear. Rachel confirmed to Page Six that she attended a recent casting event but wasn’t actually part of the audition. She was there by accident.

The production source had a different story. While they agreed that Rachel wasn’t part of the cast initially, she supposedly came to the producers’ attention when she showed up at all the events filmed with the cast.

The source claimed that her performance was so good that they ended up filming an interview with her. This all may have been a dream come true for Rachel. For years, there have been rumors that she was set to join the RHONY cast. Was she looking forward to the award all these years?

Ultimately, the bottom line is that Snowbirds is still in its early stages. None of the cast members can tell their story clearly about whether or not they will be on the show, or if the show even exists. Bravo has a few other new shows in the works, but if this one does happen, we’re clearly in for a lot of speculation.

Tell us – what are your thoughts on the drama surrounding this new show? Do you think Snowbirds will ever air?
