We are still haunted Carolyn Manzo accusations against Brandi Glanville. Not only has this derailed any chances of seeing Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco, but it now appears that the situation may have played a role in sinking Brandi’s legal case against Bravo.
All roads lead to Caroline Manzo
Last year, Brandi shocked the Bravoverse when she sued Brian Friedman and Mark Geragos. They sent a legal letter to Andy Cohen and the network. In the letter, they warned of an impending lawsuit as they accused Andy of sexual harassment. That lawsuit never happened, and earlier this month, Brandi said her lawyers mysteriously dropped the case.
“After a year of telling me how rich I was about to become and how strong my case was against Bravo, my ‘lawyers’ decided I now had no case.” [and] Cut ties with me. #Maybe it paid off?!? That’s what Brandi allegedly wrote in a since-deleted tweet.
According to a new report from Page Six, lawyers were not necessarily paid. Instead, they decided to drop the case because of all the drama associated with Caroline’s RHUGT allegations. Insiders close to the company said that Brandi didn’t have a lot of issues, but the ongoing drama with Caroline made things very messy.
“These public responsibilities complicated the situation and certainly discouraged Bravo from taking her allegations seriously,” the source claimed.
Why are Brandi Glanville and her team so angry?
According to an insider close to Brandi, she and her team are upset about the whole situation because they feel they were misled by the lawyers. Brandi was supposedly told that if she “kept her head down” she would have a better chance of winning. Therefore, she stopped taking Cameo and requests and paused all of her media appearances. And now she’s running out of money.
Meanwhile, Brandi previously blamed her lack of job opportunities on Bravo. In addition, she was navigating ongoing health issues, including a facial disfigurement, which she attributed to the stress of legal issues.
Now that her lawyers have dropped the case, it’s unclear what’s next for Brandi. However, her lawyers said they were still committed to the so-called “reality reckoning.” They’re not focused on Brandy.
“The Reality Reckoning Initiative is designed to address the broader mistreatment of reality stars and crew across multiple shows, with a focus on unfair contract provisions and systemic issues. It has never been focused on one individual’s case,” a representative for the law firm said.
