While RHOBH fans became invested in Kyle and Mo over the course of 13 seasons, viewers didn’t get the same kind of insight into her previous marriage. Who is Juresh Aldjufri and why did his relationship with Kyle not work out?
Who is Kyle’s first husband, Jurich Aldjofri?
Quraish, like his daughter Farah, works in real estate. Quraish, who is Indonesian, Arab and Dutch, is often referred to as a real estate mogul, as well as a businessman and land developer. Although he is a very private person, Quraish occasionally appears on Farah’s Instagram account. Despite his lack of interest in the limelight, Farah recalls that “his friend sent him an email and was like, ‘Is that girl in… Housewives Really your ex-wife? He thought it was hilarious. “My dad is the shyest, sweetest, sweetest, kindest person in the world,” she exploded.
Juarish was born in Indonesia on September 21, 1964. Today he lives in Bali and works mostly in Thailand. But he always makes sure to spend a lot of time in Los Angeles with his daughter. “We’re very close. He comes and stays for a month or two at a time, two or three times a year,” Farrah told The Daily Dish. Farah also said that Quraish often comes to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In 2010, he appeared on camera to attend Farrah’s college graduation.
While Kyle has three other daughters with Mauricio, Farrah is Gresh’s only child. On the cast’s trip to Mexico in Season 12, Kyle revealed that Jurich would never marry again. “I feel so bad, because he’s a good guy,” she said.
When did Kyle and Jurich get married?
Kyle first met Jurich at a Tina Turner concert in the late 1980s. By then, Kyle was already dating in the public eye, thanks to her previous relationship with actor C. Thomas Howell. In a 2017 episode of Juicy Scoop with Heather MacDonald, she shared her first impression of haggard. “He was shy and sweet, and I loved the fact that he was that — and kind and a very gentleman,” the former child star said. Meanwhile, Kyle was embarrassed that she was still wearing braces and tried to hide them. She also lied about her age, claiming she was actually 19 years old.
“He speaks good English, but he didn’t when we first met,” Kyle recalls. “He hadn’t lived here long when he had to be brave and speak English to ask me out.”
They married in a very simple ceremony about a year later, in 1988. Kyle was 19 at that point, and later admitted that “it’s hard to be a wife at that age.” Quraish was 23 years old. They were waiting for Farah at that time. Their daughter was born the same year as their wedding, in October 1988.
Kyle has nothing but nice things to say about her first husband. “When I got married, people said, ‘Well, I married a prince,'” she told Heather MacDonald. That was the rumour. He was not a prince, but he acted like one because he was very reserved and kind. Unfortunately, her obvious affection for Quraish was not enough to save the marriage.
Why did Kyle and Jorich break up?
Kyle and Jurich divorced in 1992 when Farrah was four years old. While Kyle has been cagey about what led up to her breakup with Mo, the explanation for her divorce from Quraish has remained consistent. In the end, the timing wasn’t right. On Season 12 of RHOBH, Kyle admitted, “He loved me. We had a beautiful daughter together. I loved him. I was too young to get married.”
Kyle also felt bad to initiate the divorce because they still got along so well. Fortunately, this means that they have been able to maintain a very close friendship over the decades.
Kyle has also kept a gift from him over the years. She showed off a Buddha statue when she gave Bravo Insider a tour of her backyard in 2022. [Farrah’s] I’ll take it away someday, but until then, I’ll enjoy it. I actually like having this here. “This makes it very peaceful.”
Although Kyle and Jorich’s marriage did not work out, they continued to raise Farrah successfully. As Kyle told her co-stars, Farrah always came first. Once Mauricio arrived in 1994, he took on the role of stepfather. On her social media, Farrah constantly makes sure to pay tribute to her parents.
Jurich and Mauricio get along famously both personally and professionally. They were linked by their similar professions. Since they both work in real estate, Farah told The Daily Dish that Quraish refers clients to Mo “all the time.” Of course, Farrah has followed in her parents’ footsteps, as viewers can see in the Netflix series The Umanskys.
