Bethenny Frankel Responds to Her Ex-Boyfriend’s Relationship After Their Split
Real Housewives of New York City alumna Bethenny Frankel She recently split from her fiancé Paul Bernon. Bethenny was unusually quiet about their breakup. That is, until Paul started dating Aurora Culpo. Then she had a lot to say and didn’t hold back. This is the Bethenny we all know.
After all, Bethenny has been spilling all about her nightmare breakup with Jason Hoppy on her divorce podcast. At this point, I don’t know if the world wants to hear all those dirty details, but no one can stop Bethenny from sharing her truth.
Bethenny Frankel has not agreed to date Paul Bernon again.
Bethenny shared her thoughts on the Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast. Aurora’s discussion of her relationship with Paul on the Barely Filtered podcast seemed to turn Bethenny on. “Hearing about your ex-fiancé hooking up with another woman shortly after their first date, then being in their relationship and hearing them talk about sex, their talents, meeting each other’s kids, their level of commitment,” Bethenny said.
“It was so painful. It was brutal,” the former RHONY star added. But reliving her split from Paul for a second time wasn’t easy for Bethenny. “I was just [want to] “I say I’m fine. I mean, it was hard because I had to go through the same breakup twice, but it was so much worse the second time because I had to hear all these details,” she explained.
Bethenny then opened up about why she called off her relationship with Paul. “I went through a breakup. It was something I kept to myself. It was something I grieved on my own, I went through therapy, I did the work,” she said.
“The breakup was something I initiated,” Bethenny continued. “I wasn’t happy. Something needed to change. It was definitely mutual. The relationship had its challenges, and no one left anyone.”
However, Bethenny felt she made the right decision. “It wasn’t the relationship I wanted to be in, and it wasn’t the person I wanted to be with anymore, to be honest, for a lot of reasons that I really had to come to terms with,” she said. Bethenny also gave a firm timeline for when their relationship ended, noting that the split came after the death of her mother, Bernadette Burke, in April 2024.
Well, Bethenny no longer has to worry about Paul’s new relationship with Aurora. The couple has already decided to split. And I’m sure Bethenny isn’t happy about that.
