Chef Jonathan Shillington It’s already failing. It was probably a one-hit wonder after the first charter shake. But the only time I will tell. It looks like Juno might be in over his head though. Basement med The star has never worked in a restaurant and is self-taught. He is then thrown under Captain Sandy Yoonwhich has a reputation for micro-managing its chefs.
So, with the second charter meal having already failed, and Juno called back to the bridge, what are the complaints against him and what is the “huge red flag” identified by Captain Sandy? Here’s your preview of Below the surface of the Mediterranean Sea Season 9, Episode 4.
Sandy wants to “evaluate the next charter.”
In the sneak peek, the conversation between Sandy and Juno was shown.
“And so the primaries came to me this morning. The spices were too strong and the eggs were cold. “I’m not sure why that is,” Sandy began.
“I got a message saying they wanted breakfast at 8:30 a.m., so I set it up for that time. Apparently it was late because they had a slower morning. I tried to hit them up…” Juno answered.
A skeptical Sandy understood how cold eggs were served to charter guests on a luxury yacht.
“But eggs have to be ordered, right? So tomorrow make sure you order them,” she replied.
Juno quickly left after meekly saying that he would “check inside.”
In a confessional interview, the decades-long captain explained why she was so concerned about Juno’s performance.
“For a chef to tell me he cooked the eggs when breakfast was supposed to start, instead of cooking them to order, is a big red flag,” Sandy said. “But at the same time, he did well in the last charter. We’re in the middle of the charter now. I’ve got to give Chef the chance to show me he can do it. Finish strong. And then I’ll evaluate the next charter.”
So Juno remains for now, despite the cold eggs.
