Below Deck Med Season 9 Episode 2 Preview
The huge issues of providing service to a more understanding group of charter guests could not have occurred Below the surface of the Mediterranean Sea. The group of young influencers started their vacation with a single bottle of welcome champagne. They were denied roses on the first day as well. The kids just wanted good red wine with dinner, and even that was a problem.
Blame it on the catering company’s constant mistakes, but it’s possible that someone jumped off the boat before it left the dock and crashed into a liquor store. While the Mustique crew lacked problem-solving initiative, their charter guests did not and dealt with problems on board the best way they could.
Aisha hopes for a successful season
In a sneak peek at next week’s episode, guests start mixing their own drinks and making their own grilled cheese sandwiches.
Chef Jonathan Shillingford refuses to wake up and prepare a late-night snack, despite it being on his bucket list. Elena Dobyach was struggling to make grilled cheese sandwiches until a rental guest took over the operation.
“We would rather fix something than complain,” he said. “I’m saving the day.”
Head Soup Aisha Scott is eager to set the bar high this season. But between having an unintentionally semi-dry charter and disappointing stews, it’s a tough one.
“Going into the season, I want my level to be as high as possible. But my girls are really green, and I don’t have any supplies. So I may not be able to hit the max that I’m used to, but I’ll make sure I get as close to that as possible,” she explained. “Fingers crossed.”
Lack of provisions is one issue. The other appears to be the lack of initiative to create the required meals from the aforementioned provisions. Neither the cook nor the second stew could manage this situation.
