Below Deck Med captain Sandy worried about ‘wheels falling off’
It’s only the third voyage on the Below Deck Med, and chaos is spreading from the crew quarters to the deck. Not only is chef Jonathan Shillingford struggling in the galley, but the second and third cooks are fighting over a man.

Sandy doesn’t need “details” to know there’s a problem with Below Deck Med.
Captain Sandy Yawn I didn’t have to go through Bree Mueller telling Jonah she was going to be “passively hot and aggressive” to deal with the drama to find out where the tension was coming from.
Sandy went to the confession room to share her feelings. She said, “The third covenant. The wheels are falling off.” After hearing Bree’s comment, Sandy asked her to explain herself. “That means I’m going to get angry… [but] “I’m still doing the right thing,” Bree said.
“Are you mad?” Sandy asked. “I’m just upset about all this unnecessary drama that’s happening that doesn’t need to happen. It’s affecting me,” Bree replied.
Elena Debic is furious that Bree is dating the ship’s mate Joe Bradley, despite her clear intentions. “It’s okay, we all get tired. We all go through this,” Sandy tells Bree. “And sometimes people say things that are mean… You’re very lovable… You’ll be okay.”
In a confessional interview, Sandy said, “The fact that Bree is crying right now, I just want to make sure she’s going to be okay. I don’t have details. I don’t need details. It’s not my business until it becomes my business.”
Backstage, Ellie confronted Brie about her kiss with Joe.
“You don’t care about me at all. I would never break up with you over some random guy,” Elle said during the episode. “It was a snake move.” Brie responded, “The last thing I want is to be called a snake. I never do anything maliciously.”
