Beach Volleyball Star Miles Evans Shares His Diet Ahead of Paris Olympics

Since securing the U.S. beach volleyball team’s last Olympic spot after a late surge in qualifying, the 34-year-old and his partner Chase BudingerThe 36-year-old Saudi national team players began training immediately, training five days a week in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“We sometimes do two days. We’re just trying to make sure we have the confidence we need before the Olympics,” Evans said in an exclusive interview with E! News.

During these long days of physical training, Evans burns thousands and thousands of calories. That’s why he sticks to a strict diet that helps his body keep up with the demands of an Olympic athlete and ensures he can perform at his best on the field.

So what exactly is an Olympic athlete’s diet?

“I eat oatmeal in the morning, then I eat a protein bar during my workout because I burn through calories really quickly,” Evans explained. “Then I like to have chicken or fish afterward. So those are leaner meats.”
