He is Bachelor Nation Collapse before our eyes? Are Bachelor and Bachelorette fans coming out in droves? According to one insider, that’s exactly what’s happening. ABC’s latest crime thriller comes from the final season of The Bachelor, starring Jen Tran.
Fans had many issues with Jane’s season. For one thing, the men ABC lined up for it felt like some of the worst contestants Bachelor Nation had ever seen. Jane deserves better for that alone. But then get dumped and ghosted by someone like Devin Strader? And then ABC plays the proposal again for Jen to see after the breakup? The fans were not happy.
As one insider said: “It seems like the producers are making one bad decision after another, and the fans are fed up with it.” They added: “The numbers continue to fall, and bosses are desperately trying to figure out how to get out of this hole – before the whole thing collapses!” Read on to hear more from this anonymous insider.
Insiders say The Bachelor ‘dies on the vine’
This anonymous source spoke with Life & Style saying that all of the Bachelor franchises could be in big trouble. “Valuations are not what they used to be, and that is what matters in the end,” the source said. “They keep clinging to stunts to try to get people in, but it doesn’t seem to work,” says an insider.
As for the state of the fanbase, the source explained: “Old fans are bored and disillusioned – and younger viewers aren’t interested.” Could the bachelor’s degree be on its last stop? “This could really be the final rose, and the powers that be know they have to do something,” an insider said.
They continued: “The Bachelor – and its sister shows The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise – have been dying on the vine for a while, with budgets being cut and key spots being shed.” Another issue for fans is the Empire’s “handling of diversity issues”, even after Chris Harrison’s firing. Of course, all of this is just rumors at the moment.
