Now, the woman Paul moved in with after his split from Bethenny in May is speaking out in retaliation. But it seems Bethenny’s suggestion that Aurora speak out about him was the deciding factor for him.
Aurora noted that her breakup wasn’t “Bethenny’s story to tell.”
Aurora called Bethenny “petty” for sharing the news of her split from Paul. The influencer made the remark on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast Barely Filtered.
“Guys, public service announcement: It’s not a good idea to announce that your ex broke up with his new girlfriend,” Aurora said. “It sounds petty and bitter, and you don’t get to tell your story, but she did.”
Aurora talked about Paul on her podcast, though he wanted to remain “anonymous.”
“You have to tell me that you don’t want anyone talking about you at all,” she explained. “Otherwise, I can’t really help you if you’re no longer anonymous, and I can’t really take responsibility for how people in your past might feel about the way I talk about my anonymous friend on my podcast.”
The podcast host confirmed that she still loves Paul very much, even after their breakup.
“He’s a very sweet, kind, generous, wonderful father, and very funny man,” she revealed, “and I still feel the same way about him.”
“Just because we can’t be together doesn’t mean I’m mad at him or I don’t still think he’s a great person. He is,” Aurora continued.
Perhaps their breakup was inevitable. Aurora admitted that Paul’s unwillingness to have more children was crucial to her. “It’s possible that the feelings of such a relationship don’t suit her,” she began.
“I really didn’t want to have that door closed in my face,” Aurora concluded.
