Former member of girl group Combs Danity Kane– who was fired in 2008, for reasons she later claimed were: call her dad In 2022, she was accused of refusing to do things for rappers in areas unrelated to music, but she broke her silence about his recent arrest. (O’Day later returned to Danity Kane and Combs has not publicly addressed the reasons for her departure.)
“I never thought I would see this day,” O’Day told TMZ on September 17. “We all buried this inside of us so we could move on. Not just me, but the victims that you don’t even know yet. We’re all dealing with what that kind of vindication might feel like right now. Every conversation I had with the victims last night was beyond moving on at every level.”
Combs was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York on September 16, and an unsealed federal indictment obtained by NBC News on September 17 revealed that he is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
