Ashley Firkus supports Karl Radke after Lindsey Hubbard split
It seems like everyone has an opinion about their epic breakup summer house stars Carl Radke And Lindsey Hubbard. And this time Ashley Wirkus He speaks. Ashley starred in the first two seasons of the show and was always the voice of reason on set. After watching season 8, Ashley preferred Team Carl over Team Lindsay. And she has a lot to say about why.
Ashley believes that Carl and Lindsay were not the right person
Ashley is familiar with Carl’s ways. Her sister, Lauren Wirkus, dated him briefly on the show, and Ashley was not a fan of him. She also called out Karl for being a playboy and knew he was not the right man for her sister. So, it’s interesting that Ashley sided with Karl instead of Lindsay regarding their breakup.
US Weekly reported Ashley’s thoughts on Karl and Lindsay, and whether or not she felt Lindsay was in shock. She said of Carl: “I thought Carl handled himself very well. I thought he was very well spoken. We only see glimpses and I thought he was trying hard to make it work.”
However, Ashley was not in this blind case. “I know they were saying, ‘Oh, he was being set up.’ I don’t think it was being set up by him. I think he was trying to have an honest conversation and it didn’t go well,” she said. “None of their conversations went well to be fair.”
She added: “I don’t know much about the relationship, but from what I saw on TV, they did everyone a favor by not being together.” Amen to that.
Ashley then spilled the tea on her friendship with Lindsay. “I knew Lindsay well before the show,” she shared. She was at my wedding [and] Our friendship is kind of over. …I think maybe because we’re not on the show anymore and we’re not a part of it anymore. Did Lindsay drop Ashley because she’s no longer on the show?
Ultimately, Ashley thought Karl and Lindsay weren’t right for each other. “I think if they were the right person, it would have worked out,” she said. “I think when you’re not the right person, it doesn’t work out unfortunately.”
In conclusion, Ashley may join Season 9 to be an ally to Carl and mix things up with Lindsay. It would be great to see her again!
