As the difficult 14th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey comes to a close

As the difficult fourteenth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey comes to a close, fans are beginning to wonder about the future of the show. Teresa Giudice She has been a mainstay of the cast since the series premiered in 2009. Many argue that the original character provided some of the show’s most memorable moments, including the infamous table-flipping scene from season one. But over the years, her yearning for the spotlight has gotten a little out of hand. Recently, Tree made a bold statement that she’s not going anywhere, leaving fans wondering if there will be a reboot.

This season has seen all the women, including Teresa, refuse to film with half the cast. The show has been divided, even leading to a separate reunion. But it’s nice to know that some things never change. One constant has always been Teresa and her uncanny ability to start drama among the group. Teresa is loud, unapologetic, and truly believes in doing no wrong. Not only does Trey provide some great television moments, but she’s also an icon on RHONJ. So losing her would be devastating. But thankfully, we don’t think Teresa is going anywhere. Here’s why.

Teresa Giudice doubles down

The 52-year-old actress decided to set the record straight during a guest appearance on Kelly and Marc’s show earlier this week. For weeks, there have been rumors that the show’s environment has become toxic and that Bravo was considering shaking up the cast. But the mother of four doesn’t seem to be shaking in her boots like the rest of the cast. Teresa told both hosts that “some cast members” were responsible for spreading those rumors in the Bravo world. In a defiant move, Teresa noted, “I’m not leaving. I started the show. When Bravo wants me to leave, that’s when I’m leaving.”

Teresa Giudice has a story.

Since season three, Teresa has been in a constant feud with her brother, Joe Gorga, and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. Over the past few seasons, Teresa has been making sure to keep her storyline alive and well with constant bickering. Between spreading rumors about Melissa being a stripper and Melissa cheating, Trey has been a busy woman. Even the fact that Teresa and her brother are no longer on speaking terms has somehow become a storyline. Once again, Teresa has told Kelly and Mark that she doesn’t see a way forward.

Teresa claimed that the family sat down off camera to try to make peace. But nothing worked. Now Teresa has a lot going on, but she knows what makes good TV. I have a hard time believing she didn’t try to film this for the series. The original character doesn’t just have problems with her family. She also constantly fights with the current cast members, so there’s never a dull moment with her.

Teresa Giudice is an open book.

Love her or hate her, Teresa has always been an open book. Viewers have watched her give birth to her fourth daughter on the show, face legal issues, go to jail, lose her parents, get divorced, and find love again. Not many other Real Housewives have been this open and honest about their personal lives. And while Teresa may start most of the drama, she has always invited the Bravo cameras to film her; the good, the bad, and the ugly. So, I think it will be hard to find a worthy replacement for her when push comes to shove.

Fans still love Teresa Giudice, for the most part.

For some reason, fans still love watching Teresa. She’s a mother of four, unpredictable, and a badass like no other. And while she can easily forget the truth in many of her claims, fans find her entertaining. If Bravo ever reboots The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it will take one key element from the original franchise to survive and lead the way. And I think the light at the end of the tunnel will be Teresa. She set the gold standard for the show, and without her, I shudder to think what the show would look like.

But there’s always a glimmer of hope. Even if she leaves RHONJ, she’ll still be on reality TV. She’s landed a spot on season two of House of Villains . And she might even star in The Traitors in the future.
