As much as it pains me to say, welcome back to the final recap of the summer series

As much as it pains me to say, welcome back to the final recap Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 2. This week is the final installment, and if you were worried they wouldn’t bring the heat, you thought wrong. The group still has to address the elephant in the room regarding Nick and the girls from last episode. Once the dust settled, Amir had some things to get off his chest as well. We also lost a cast member a couple of days ago, in the middle of last night’s episode, but according to them, it was all for their own good. Even though this is the final episode of the regular season, we know there is a heated reunion to look forward to. So, let’s get into it! Here’s everything that happened in the season finale of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard, Season 2, Episode 9: Summer’s Fall.

Nick moves in with the rest of the house

The last episode ended with Nick coming out to Priya, Shanice, Noel, and Natalie Curtis (sort of) about repeating damaging rumors about him. In case you didn’t understand, the girls said that Nick can be very helpful when he’s drunk. Nick has every right to be upset about this conversation because he thinks this situation is over. But Amir’s friend Natalie was trying to secure her place for next season. By doing this, you put a lot of effort into trying to bring Nick down.

Eventually, the house moved, and Nick apologized to the women for raising his voice. Noelle also showed a lot of grace and said sorry to Nick for the way Natalie took her words to his girlfriend. Shanice and Noelle also clarified their comments, adding that it was Natalie’s idea to show it off on camera. Priya was elsewhere in the house, though, standing by what she said.

The next day, the remaining partners, Natalie and Simone Marko, left the house, allowing the original cast of 10 some much-needed downtime before their vacation ended.

Later in the episode, Nick and Amir go golfing, and Nick tells Amir that Priya, Shanice, and Noel said Natalie started the drama the night before on her own. Amir admitted he was frustrated with the girls setting Natalie up and said she wasn’t wrong. He said that since Natalie lives by the “girl code,” she wanted to alert Nick’s friend. He then decided that he needed to talk to Priya and the others to get to the bottom of what happened.

Summer packed her bags to go home early

Over the past few weeks, Samar has spoken about her healing journey in certain areas of her life. Therefore, she privately told Preston and Jordan that she felt it was best for her not to stay home. She told producers in her confessional that pretending to be okay wasn’t doing her any good.

“I realize I can’t pretend to be happy. I’m eager to address situations in my life that need to be addressed,” she said. “I want to be home with my family and friends and reset.”

Jordan reassured her, saying that admitting her hurt would be good for her in the end. “I was hoping she would stay here to get to a better place with everyone,” she said in her confessional. “But if you have to go, you have to go.”

The next day, she told the rest of her roommates about her plans. She started with Jasmine and Alex and went to find the rest of the women by the pool. Before that, she tried to find Noelle, but she was lying in her bed away from the chaos. In the edit, Jasmine sent Noel a text message letting her know that Summer was leaving. “Are you going to say goodbye?” Read the text. “No,” Noelle replied.

Summer then told Priya and Shanice that she was heading abroad, and Priya sent her good wishes and ordered her to take a spiritual bath to cleanse the negative energy. In her final confession, Samar said that chaos allowed for “expansion and growth.”

“So, I don’t regret anything.”

Another wild explosion

When it was dinner time, Amir asked Priya, Shanice, and Noel about the conversation with Nick. Before it got too far into the conversation, Shanice said it didn’t really matter because the issue was over. “But he didn’t die,” Amir said.

Soon after, things started to escalate. Priya wasn’t necessarily raising her voice; She was just speaking with a little extra emphasis. But it didn’t matter because Amir felt like he was being yelled at. “Every time you chime in, you scream,” he told her. “Leave me out of your friend’s mess,” she replied. “What about that?”

At this point, Nick jumped into the middle of things and said that Priya needed to take responsibility and do some “self-reflection.” Yasmine encouraged Priya to count to 10, and as she did so, Nick said, “How old are we?” be seen. Nick, you could have just sat there and been quiet. Now, Priya is about to unleash on you, and you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.

Anyway, Priya answered his question by saying that she was 10 years old. Actually “10 and a half”. She continued: How old are you? “Nick Arrington, everyone,” she said, clapping mockingly as if Nick was a top executive at Bravo. “Whatever, Urkel,” she said, referring to the 1990s show Family Matters.

She goes back to Nick’s point about thinking and says that she’s not the one talking about Nick’s relationship. Pointing to Amir, Priya added: “It arose from his petition.” “Like, get out of here. What do you think this is? Take responsibility for your girl, bro,” she said. Amir is back, and this is the shocking moment we’ve been waiting for from the trailer. “Stop raising your voice at me,” he shouted. “I don’t want to have this conversation anymore,” he said, “because the only thing I wanted was to know what was going on…” before Priya cut him off, saying, “And we told you so.” Amir rushed out the front door, closing it behind him before screaming : “God’s curse”.

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye generosity

After the explosion on the 13th, the crew put things behind them on the 14th and 15th. In the end, the episode ended well, with the crew having a fancy dinner on the beach, drinking expensive alcohol, and playing a fun game of impersonation.

The group gathered at the Truth Booth for the last time, and it was the Kiki we know and love.

“Martha, girl, we’ve been lit this summer,” Jasmine said. “We came, we saw, we conquered, and we’re still figuring it out.”

Goodbye Martha (for now). We show that season 3 is already in the works.

The Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 2 reunion airs Sunday, May 26 on Bravo.
