Artem Chigvintsev seeks spousal support from Nikki Garcia

Former Dancing with the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev He issued a response to his wife, Nicky GarciaOn August 29, 2024, Artem was arrested on domestic violence charges. The identity of the victim has not been revealed, but his wife and their son Mateo were present at the time. As a result, Nikki filed for divorce from Artem on September 13, 2024. It looks like this will be a controversial divorce.
Artem Chigvintsev demands alimony
Artem’s case is currently under review by the prosecutor. After reviewing all the evidence, the prosecutor will determine what charges Artem may face. Meanwhile, Nikki’s friends are reportedly referring to Artem as a “monster.”
In her legal documents, Nikki requested sole physical and legal custody of their son, Mateo. According to US Weekly, in Artem’s court documents, he also cited irreconcilable differences and cited the date of his arrest as their separation date. However, Artem wants joint physical and legal custody of Mateo.
Additionally, Artem is asking Nikki to pay his attorney fees and is asking for spousal support. Isn’t that rich? Additionally, Artem has declared his status as a presumptive spouse from August 26, 2022 to January 19, 2023.
The supposed husband believes they are in a legal marriage, but the marriage is not valid. Although the couple married in August 2022 in a ceremony in France, they tied the knot in the United States in January 2023. This is an interesting twist. It is also worth noting that in her divorce filing, Nikki requested that neither party be awarded spousal support.
This is going to be a real battle, especially over custody of Mateo.
