In the world of Dancing with the Stars (and reality TV in general), rumors are mounting. Right now, the topic of Artem and Nikki’s breakup remains fresh in people’s minds. The allegations against Artem seemed to come out of nowhere. It is understandable that the public latched onto the news with special interest.
The good news amidst the media storm is that Nicki is constantly putting herself in safer circumstances. Besides, as Nikki’s sister said, the truth will always win out. It is natural for us to have this hope as humans. In this latest case, Artem was very quick to set things right.
Artem Chigvintsev calls the reconciliation report “incorrect”
On October 16, US Weekly reported that Artem wanted to reconcile with Nikki. A source told the outlet: “Artem wanted to reconcile with Nikki. He doesn’t want the family to split up, and… [would love] To put this behind them. On the other hand, the source added: “Nicki wants to move forward.”
The source also confirmed that Artem will “respect [Nikki’s] Desires and Boundaries.” That same day, Artem reached out to PEOPLE to file a dissenting report. “Reports that I wanted to reconcile with Nikki are incorrect,” Artem told the outlet. Artem’s lawyer also confirmed that Artem has not communicated with Nikki since early October.
Artem’s statement to People makes more sense than the idea of him wanting reconciliation. At this point, the damage appears irreparable. When you file a restraining order against someone, reconciliation is not a likely outcome. And let’s not forget that Nicki served her with a restraining order first. It’s probably best for both parties to stay separate.
