After appearing on reality TV for nearly a decade, Ariana entered the party with plenty of experience being a reunion guest. However, hosting a reunion seemed like a whole different beast, especially for a show like Love Island. It’s very different from Vanderpump Rules.

During the Season 6 reunion, we saw shocking confessions. We heard talks about the leaked NSFW video. It’s been a lot, and Ariana told Page Six in an interview that she has a “new appreciation” for Andy after the “intense” reunion. I did it once, but somehow, he does it dozens of times a year.

“He gave me the best advice beforehand,” Ariana revealed. “He just said, ‘Don’t be afraid to go out there and be you and put your own stamp on it.’”

She continued: “He obviously did a lot of reunions. He’s literally, like the king of it! So it was really amazing that I was able to get some advice from him before doing it.

Although she went into the Love Island USA reunion armed with Andy’s advice, she still faced some challenges. Mainly, she admitted that it was really hard to be neutral about some of the bullshit we heard at the reunion. She still pulled it off though.

“As a host, there’s room for you to feel how you feel and have a little bit of your own opinion, but at the same time, you have to be as neutral as possible,” Ariana explained.

She continued: “It’s hard sometimes because you’re watching all these things happen, and you’re encouraging everyone to find love, and you’re encouraging everyone to be treated right. But of course life happens.”
