She’s not shy about sharing the secrets behind her ankle jewelry either. After all, for someone who loves fashion, is it really that surprising that she wears accessories on display?
Anna Delvey’s Fashion Department Collaborates
After the new season premiere, the “fake heiress” and fashion PR guru spoke with Page Six about how she teamed up with the DWTS wardrobe team to help her perfect her tracker.
“We worked with the costume department,” she said. “Obviously we couldn’t leave the ankle bracelet bare, so we decided to match it to my dress.”
“It looks like a sleeve,” she added. She explained that the embellishment was actually attached to the sleeve fabric and not the ankle bracelet itself. Some people complained about that and the messages it sent, so she made sure to explain what she did with the bracelet. “It was fun!”
Her fellow pro dancer, Ezra Sosa, also got in on the ankle bracelet fun, showing off a matching sparkling bracelet he wore when he and Anna were at New York Fashion Week.
However, the piece of jewelry he wears on his ankle hasn’t made an actual appearance at the show yet. It was just a fashion week accessory. That doesn’t mean it won’t make an appearance at some point in the future.
“Honestly, they asked me not to wear it,” he admitted. “I was planning on wearing it, but I think it’s something that might happen later in the season.”
I guess we’ll have to wait and see if the matching ankle accessories will show up in later shows. Right now, the duo finds themselves in a three-way tie with Ilona Maher, Alan Bersten, Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchencko with 18 points for their Cha-Cha to Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso.
“I hope to improve and perform better next time,” Anna said of her first performance.
