While self-reflection isn’t usually a trait we associate with our favorite Real Housewives, Angie recently opened up about the moment she found out she’d be front and center in Season 5. And she actually cried over it!

Angie admitted to being emotional about the snowflake in the middle of her body while speaking to Entertainment Tonight. During the interview, she dished on all the details surrounding the Season 5 premiere, and admitted that she cried when she first saw herself in the middle of the show’s introduction card.
Who would have thought that a little snowflake could evoke so many emotions? According to Angie, she felt these strong emotions because her journey to snowflake center was so difficult. She faced some of the biggest villains we’ve ever seen on a Real Housewives show, and she felt like some people on the Salt Lake City cast were trying to get her.
“I think I went through a lot. People felt like they had to put me under pressure, try to take me out of the game, try to bring me down,” Angie explained.
“It reminded me that the best is the best and that being yourself and having fun can be a good thing,” she continued. “I don’t have to be a villain or a bad person to stand in the middle and represent Salt Lake City.”
Meanwhile, some RHOSLC fans were probably pretty pissed when they saw Angie in the lead. Best of luck next season, ladies!
