This led Angela to decide to marry Michael in Nigeria, to apply for a spousal visa. The couple’s story continued through several seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? where things started to go south. Eventually, Angela grew tired of Michael’s lying habits, while he simultaneously grew frustrated with her trying to control him. After seven years, Michael finally made it to the United States, where his relationship with Angela soon fell apart. While the couple had dozens of crazy moments leading up to their breakup, this was by far the most intense.
Angela left Michael’s friends and threatened not to marry him.
One of Angela and Michael’s most heated arguments came during season five of Happily Ever After. While the former couple was trying to figure out the spousal visa application process, Michael came up with an idea. He felt it would be beneficial for Angela to live with him in Nigeria while he waited for his visa to be approved. Angela, on the other hand, wasn’t open to this at all. She explained that she needed to be in the United States because her grandchildren and her mother depended on her.
In an attempt to convince Angela to stay in Nigeria, Michael asked her to meet some of his “friends.” The friends were expatriates who had lived in both America and Nigeria and Michael felt that they could convince Angela to live in Nigeria for a while. Angela agreed, but was not happy when she learned that these expatriates were women. After arriving at the meeting, Angela thanked the women for coming, but immediately turned to leave. Michael was frustrated, as he felt that Angela did not respect the women’s time.
The incident quickly sent Angela into a tizzy, claiming that she had no plans to marry Michael after what happened. Angela’s reaction was dramatic, with Michael explaining that the man in the group he had been contacting in the first place had not arrived yet. This was the first of many altercations where Angela exploded over something that was no big deal.

One of Angela’s craziest moments was when she showed up at Michael’s house in Nigeria unannounced. During season 7 of Happily Ever After, Angela got mad when Michael refused to delete his Instagram account. Angela got so mad that she decided to surprise Michael by flying to Nigeria. And if that wasn’t enough, Angela decided to surprise Michael outside his house in the middle of the night.
When Michael did not respond immediately, Angela quickly lost her temper. She began yelling at Michael, banging on his door and windows, and demanding that he get out. When her patience ran out, Angela began destroying Michael’s car, tearing several pieces of it apart. Angela shouted that it was her car, as the couple shared property under Nigerian law.
Eventually, Michael came out to stop Angela and called her “crazy” for showing up unannounced in the middle of the night. Angela proceeded to push Michael and things escalated to the point where the producers had to break up the fight. This was one of Angela’s most intense moments and showed that she would stop at nothing to make a point. While Michael could have handled some things differently, none of his actions towards Angela justified such extreme behavior.
Angela refused to let Michael make money on Instagram.
Shortly after the car accident, Angela agreed to sit down with Michael and listen to him. However, it didn’t take long for the conversation to turn into another heated argument. Michael explained that he only kept his Instagram account open so he could work as an influencer. He felt it was a good way to make money because Angela refused to send him more money and also wouldn’t allow him to work. Furthermore, as a Nigerian man, Michael was expected to work to support his family.
Angela did not back down and insisted that Michael could not have his Instagram account. She quickly became agitated and even kicked the table and shouted that she did not care about him making money. Angela then stood up and began to insult Michael, calling him an “opportunist.”
This was one of Angela and Michael’s most heated fights, highlighting the problems in their marriage. Michael was trying to find ways to make money and support himself, but Angela wouldn’t let that happen. Angela contradicted herself when she called Michael an opportunist, even though he was trying to work on social media to make a living. It’s no surprise that Michael eventually reached his breaking point and left Angela after arriving in America. Hopefully, Angela and Michael will both learn from their marriage and find love again in the future.
