Andy Cohen wanted to become the star of Bravo’s Golden Bachelorette

ABC recently announced Joan Vassos as their first ever Golden Bachelorette. Good for her, but there were other options. particularly, Andy Cohen I wanted to see a certain courage take this place. He wanted to go to former Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps.

Luann deserves a dating offer

Picture this: Countess Luann is surrounded by a group of eligible bachelors, carefully narrows down her decision and ends up divorcing just weeks after filming wraps. Andy wanted to see it happen, and he made a very convincing case for it during Andy Cohen Live on Sirius XM.

Of course, we had a lot of other ideas about who could be the Golden Bachelorette over Joan. Honestly, Theresa Nest could have taken this opportunity now that she was single. There were also rumors of Susan Lucci joining the show. Unfortunately, they landed on Joan, which was not satisfactory for Andy.

“Mazel her,” Andy said before sharing his thoughts on the show.

“I certainly hope it’s Countess Luann,” he continued. “I think that would have been amazing.”

Andy’s co-host Jon Hill suggested there would be a “fantasy suite every night” if Luann ended up leading Bachelor Gold. However, Andy made a very important distinction.

“Let me put it this way,” Andy explained. “She would fuck whoever she wanted to. She had ownership.”

Although Andy would have liked to see Countess Lou on Golden Bachelorette, that doesn’t sit well with Joan. Since her time in the Golden Bachelor program was cut short due to family obligations, she is a great choice for the Golden Bachelor program. It’s worth a second shot, but maybe Luann can step in for Season 2?
