Andy Cohen Responds to RHONJ Reunion Fury

Bravo recently announced that there will be no reunion for Season 14 The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The fan-favorite franchise has been on the air for fifteen years now and no reunion has been the first of its kind.

Naturally, all hell broke loose after this announcement. The lack of a reunion, a Real Housewives staple, usually indicates that something is seriously wrong. Given the absolute ice wall between OG Teresa Giudice and enemy sister/wife Melissa Gorga, speculation immediately pointed to them.

Now bravo dad Andy Cohen He tries to explain why the producers made this sudden decision.

The end of the season will be a “classic”

During an appearance on an episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Check with Keke Monique, Andy asked why fans should understand this unprecedented move.

“I want to give some context to the announcement over the weekend that there will be no Jersey reunion because I feel like there are a lot of theories about what that could mean,” he said. “I think the main thing is that it will all make sense once you see the ending.”

Andy went on to say that this season’s RHONJ finale will be a “classic” that “people will be talking about for a long time to come.”

Once the producers saw how epic the season finale was, they “all came to the decision separately” and decided that “the finale is kind of an ending and a reunion all in one.”

“It’s a great tradition of shocking and very exciting Jersey “The finals and they have this epic final group meeting, which feels like the last supper and it’s just jersey,” Andy revealed. “It’s shocking, dramatic and stunning television.”

Bravo has something else in mind

The executive producer also promised viewers that they would “feel complete” after watching the final episode. Additionally, Andy teased that the network is “cooking up” something to replace the reunion.

“I feel like this reunion announcement came without a lot of context, so I just wanted to fill in some of the blanks for you,” Andy concluded.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
