Andy Cohen is open to Sheree Whitfield’s RHOA return

When Bravo released the official cast list for Season 16 of The Real Housewives of AtlantaThere was one name missing. Sherry Whitfieldalso known as the Bone Collector, was not on the list.

Although she has come and gone before, Sheree’s unexpected exit caused dismay among fans who felt the OG had more stories to share.

Fans were quick to blame the executive producer Andy Cohen For not appreciating Sherry’s role in the cast. But Andy admits there may still be room for the occasional visit from a fashion designer.

Andy really hopes to see Sheree back

Although Andy claimed to be just as “upset” as many fans to see Sherri slip up in pink, there’s not much he can do about it. Her exit was part of a “cast shake-up” intended to revitalize the show. In addition to Sherri, Marlo Hampton, Sanya Richards-Ross and Courtney Rhodes were also let go. Kandi Burruss also chose to leave after 14 seasons, though she claims she was asked to return.

“I always hope we get a little bit of Sherri back,” Andy told Distractify.

“I think Sheree is one of the mainstays of this show,” he added. “It’s one of my personal favorites.”

As fans continue to attack the Watch What Happens Live host on social media, Andy suggested there’s always a chance Sheree will be around to make some questionable remarks in future episodes. She commands his respect and admiration, and he would be willing to visit every now and then.

Only two cast members kept their peaches for season 16: Drew Sidora and Kenya Moore. Porsha Williams returns alongside her best friend Shamea Morton, who finally gets the peach. Cynthia Bailey also returns as a “friend” of the Housewives.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is now streaming on Peacock.
