Andy Cohen on Daddy’s Mission

Earlier this week, Andy shared a photo on Instagram of his son’s new desk with a “Welcome to Kindergarten” sign alongside three crying-with-joy emojis. He also shared his feelings about Ben’s big day with The Daily Dish.

In February 2024, Andy celebrated Ben’s fifth birthday by admitting that Ben “couldn’t make me happier.” He then celebrated Ben’s birthday on an episode of WWHL by counting down the top five things he’s learned about being a father since welcoming little Benjamin into his family in 2019.

#5: “Breakfast is a very loose concept. It turns out it’s just about putting something in your stomach.”

#4: “Elsa is totally overrated. Anna is the star of Frozen. This is Ben Cohen.” I read Andy’s book, My Dad’s Diary: The Year I Grew Up. Ben’s intense admiration for Anna is well documented.

#3: “It’s almost impossible to keep Hot Wheels race tracks installed…don’t even get me started.”

#2: “You can wear many Halloween costumes.” True. Why limit yourself?

#1: “The number one thing Ben has taught me this year, and every year, is that you can find happiness in almost anything. Happy birthday, my friend. I love you.”

Fatherhood looks great on you, Andy. I’m so happy to see you so happy and enjoying every day with your little ones. Still!
