Alexis Bellino Blames RHOC Backlash on Edit

Alexis Bellino She was about to wake up suddenly when she came back to The Real Housewives of Orange CountySince she was dating John Janssen, and is now engaged to him, the cast has some ideas. John previously dated RHOC star Shannon Beador, and is suing her for $75,000. Plus, Shannon is still dealing with the fallout from her drunk driving, including the Ring camera footage John has of that night. Frustrated, Alexis was fed up with Shannon criticizing her man, so she hinted that the tapes could be released. Alexis has been dealing with the backlash ever since.

Alexis Bellino thinks she’s making ‘it look bad’

“I just want to let everyone know that what you see in my career is not real. This is not the truth. A lot has been intentionally overlooked to portray me in a bad light. That’s okay. I’ll take one for the sake of the team getting ratings for this company, but I’ll live in the truth,” Alexis captioned the photo.

“I’m going to come out with the truth. Whether I have to do it here on my Instagram page or if this career I’ve chosen decides to come out with the truth. Either way, the truth will come out,” she continued. Alexis plans to share her truth with RHOC fans.

“Because what you’re watching on TV right now isn’t me. I love you all, and I don’t hate you because you hate me. Because I would hate myself too if I were you,” Alexis declared. “But just wait, I’m going to tell the truth after every episode of what was intentionally edited to portray me as someone I don’t even know.” She added, “(There will be live recaps of the truth starting with episode one as soon as possible on my IG!!)” Wow!

However, Alexis isn’t the only one who thinks she’s been typecast as a villain. Katie Ginella previously said, “You know, I hate that Alexis is being attacked on social media right now. She’s such a sweet person.”

Meanwhile, Tamra Judge also hinted that Alexis was unfairly edited. “I just hope that a lot of the other things that we talked about and did… are shown and you can see the whole Alexis, where she’s coming from. So hopefully there’s a little bit of a shift in things going forward and you see Alexis as the nice girl that she is and not some bad guy because she’s not that,” Judge explained.

Of course, Alexis expected her coworkers to be more protective of her. She explained that while she would be bringing a lot of receipts to the party, that didn’t include any video footage of Shannon. According to Alexis, neither she nor John plan to ever show those clips. Thank goodness!

Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
