There is a lot of chaos going on. Selling Sunset Season 8, but apparently, Alana Gold She’s the one who really crossed the line. She falsely claimed to own a “little Western town in the desert,” and now the residents are applauding her.

Alana said she owns an area near Los Angeles called Pioneertown. On Selling Sunset, she joked that she was the “mayor of the town.” Meanwhile, the residents of Pioneertown weren’t laughing.

You can’t silence the people of Pioneertown.

After Alana made an unfounded statement about her ownership of Pioneertown, the townspeople went to print and issued a statement via the Pioneertown Gazette. Not only did they make it clear that Alana did not “own” the town, they also demanded an apology from the newcomer to Sailing Sunset.

“The baseless claims by Selling Sunset star Alana Gold that she ‘owns the City of Pioneers’ undermine 78 years of internationally celebrated film, arts and cultural history,” the statement said.

“These allegations belittle generations of artists, neighbors, nature lovers, community members, musicians, small business owners and other wonderful people in Pioneertown,” she continued.

Although Alana fervently claimed in Season 8 that she “owns” the town, the Pioneertown Gazette explained that she owns less than 1%. Apparently, more than “100 independent parties” actually own the area. There is no single owner. So, it’s like someone who has an apartment in Manhattan but says they own an island.

The statement explained,[Alanna] “She owns a small non-controlling interest in an entity that owns six of the thirty-five parcels of land in the Mann Street area, which constitutes less than 1 percent of Pioneertown’s total 640 acres. The claim that she owns “the entire city” is verifiably false.”
