For those who don’t know, Anna was a notorious con artist who was placed under house arrest for her crimes. She was able to get out of house arrest to join DWTS, but her reputation preceded her. Ezra Defends Anna Delvey’s Case to DWTS Audience

On September 23, Ezra took to TikTok to tell his followers all about his first night as a pro. “That entire day was literally the best day ever… I felt so much love from literally everyone, including my partner.” Unfortunately for Anna, it wasn’t exactly mutual.

“On my part, I was feeling very positive,” Ezra continued. “On my part, my partner wasn’t feeling the same. I think the hardest part of my day, after her press release, was reading the comments and we couldn’t find her. They finally found her in the bathroom. She was crying. I’d never seen her like that before, and it broke my heart.”

“As her partner, I just wanted to give her the best experience possible, and knowing that wasn’t the case, it really broke my heart,” he added.

Ezra referred to Anna’s “controversial” reputation and said he could not “justify” her actions “to her or anyone else.” However, Ezra also noted that the Anna he loved during training was “not the person everyone sees in the media. No one deserves the amount of hate she’s getting right now. She deserves a second chance.”
