A Macklemore fan was arrested after being invited to appear on stage due to an illegal arrest warrant.

During a performance at the Lovestream Festival in Slovakia on August 17, the “Can’t Hold Us” singer invited a fan to join him on stage for a special musical moment. However, things didn’t go as planned for the fan, who was identified and arrested on an outstanding warrant, according to Slovak police.
Police said on their Facebook page on Aug. 19 that authorities tracked down the unnamed woman after she posted her experience on social media, along with a photo of the woman in a white T-shirt with Macklemore putting his arm around her shoulders on stage.
But her post “did not escape the attention of a citizen observer who also follows the person search page of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic,” the authorities wrote on Facebook, translated from Slovak.
The police explained that the man “recognized the woman and realized that he had just seen her on the mentioned page, and immediately reported this fact to the police.”
