9-1-1 Revealing the cause of death of crew member Rico Brim

New details have emerged from Average Ricosudden death.

After more than a month 9-1-1 A crew member died in a car accident after a 14-hour night shift on set, and his official cause of death has been revealed.

In Los Angeles County medical examiner’s records viewed by E! News, the 66-year-old was determined to have died of a sudden heart defect or cardiac arrest. The report also cited a secondary cause of death as cardiomegaly — or enlargement of the heart — in Brehm’s left ventricle.

Brim’s accident occurred while he was driving on a Los Angeles freeway on May 11 on his way home from the ABC series, on which he was working as a handler. While driving, his car unexpectedly left the road, went onto an embankment and flipped onto its roof. He was found dead at the scene, the California Highway Patrol told TVLine.

Brim’s death was reported by entertainment union IATSE Local 80 on May 13.
