While things went well, Jean admitted he was feeling a bit nervous ahead of the Olympic torch relay, which will involve 11,000 torchbearers and start in Greece before making its way through France.

“It was an honor to be a part of this important moment,” the 31-year-old shared in a press release. “I was able to take on the honorable role of carrying the torch thanks to the support of ARMY (official BTS fans). I am truly grateful. I was so nervous that I didn’t know how the time passed, but I was able to do my best thanks to the many people on site who cheered me on loudly.”
