According to what was published by Al-Watan newspaper, the Zamalek club management will hold a new session with Mohamed Awad, the team’s goalkeeper, to discuss extending his contract and reducing his financial demands.
The newspaper indicated that the Zamalek club management informed Mohamed Awad of his conditions for extending his contract with the team, including reducing the salary in addition to placing a participation percentage clause in the goalkeeper’s contract, due to the absence of this clause in the current contract.
The newspaper stressed that Zamalek Club is waiting for the final session with Mohamed Awad, the team’s goalkeeper, whether to accept or reject the last offer to extend his contract.
Mohamed Awad joined Zamalek from Ismaily in the summer of 2019 and receives 15 million annually in his current contract with the Whites.
