Zamalek club signed 5 players during the current summer transfer period, namely Palestinian Omar Farag, Moroccan Mahmoud Bentayek, Mohamed Hamdi, Senegalese Sidi Ndiaye, and Polish Konrad Michalak.

According to what was published by the “Youm7” website, the Zamalek club management believes in the necessity of contracting a local defender before the registration window closes, due to the team’s need for him next season.

The website explained that the Zamalek club management will exert strong pressure to conclude the deal for Ahmed Kalusha, the Enppi defender, despite his club’s refusal to dispense with his services this summer.

Zamalek Club is preparing to face the Kenyan Police tomorrow in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Confederation Cup.
