Zamalek weighs up Konrad and Barrow to bolster attack

According to what was published by the “Yalla Koura” website, there is a team within the Zamalek club’s board of directors that wants to contract with the Polish Konrad Michalak, because the player is physically and technically ready to participate with the team in the African Super Cup against Al-Ahly, scheduled for September 27.

While some voices within the Zamalek club management want Modou Barrow to come, due to his strong resume, despite reservations about his absence from the stadiums for a long time due to injury.

The website explained that the Polish Konrad Michalak and the Gambian Modou Barrow welcome the transfer to the ranks of Zamalek Club, and the club obtained their approval to transfer to the ranks of the Whites this summer.

The website confirmed that Portuguese Jose Gomes, coach of Zamalek Club, prefers his club to sign Modou Barrow, but some members of the Whites’ board of directors want to convince him to sign Konrad Michalak.

The website stressed that preference is given to Burundian Konrad Michalak over Modou Barrow in order to sign him for Zamalek, due to the former’s technical and physical readiness.

It is noteworthy that Zamalek Club signed the trio Omar Farag, Mahmoud Bentayek and Mohamed Hamdy, during the current summer transfer period.
