viagramof – Turkish club Fenerbahce wants to sign Frenchman Saint-Maximin, Al-Ahly Saudi winger, during the current summer transfer period.
Disagreement between Fenerbahce and Al-Ahly over Maximan deal
According to what was published by the newspaper “Asharq Al-Awsat”, the management of Al-Ahly Club granted the French Saint-Maximin permission to agree with the Turkish Fenerbahce on personal terms, in order to contract with him this summer.
The newspaper indicated that negotiations between Fenerbahce of Turkey and Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia are advanced regarding the purchase of Maxim’s contract, but the negotiations have not been concluded due to the disagreement between the two parties regarding the financial value of the deal.
She explained that the German Matthias Jaissle, the coach of Al-Ahly Club, wants to sell Saint-Maximin’s contract this summer, in order to include a winger with different specifications than the French player, to strengthen the team’s ranks during the next season.
Saint-Maximin played 30 matches for Al-Ahly in the Saudi League last season, during which he scored 4 goals and made only 9 assists.
Saint-Maximin joined Al-Ahly Saudi Club in the summer of 2023, coming from Newcastle United of England, on a 3-year contract.
