viagramof – The Pyramids Club revealed today the details of the injury suffered by Moroccan Walid El Karti, the team’s midfielder, recently before facing Zamalek, this October 20, in the Emirates, in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup.
Walid Al-Karti will miss Pyramids’ match against Zamalek
Mustafa Al-Muniri, head of the medical staff at the Pyramids Club, said in statements published on the club’s official website, that Walid Al-Karti, the team’s midfielder, suffers from a partial tear in the knee cartilage that he suffered in the Egypt Cup final against Zed.
Mustafa Al-Muniri added that Walid Al-Karti underwent arthroscopic knee surgery during the rest period in Morocco.
He explained that Walid Al Karti is currently in the Emirates to undergo a rehabilitation program at a medical center.
He stressed that Walid Al-Karti will continue for two weeks in the Emirates before returning to Cairo in order to continue his treatment and rehabilitation program in preparation for participating with Pyramids in the upcoming matches.
Walid El Karti will be absent from the ranks of the Pyramids club against Zamalek, on October 20, in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup.
