Mwani proves his right to lead France’s attack
The scoring in the match, which was hosted by Baudouin Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels, was started by star Randall Kolo Mwani in the 35th minute from a penalty kick.
Belgian star Luis Opinda succeeded in equalizing for his country with a goal that came in the 45+3 minute, after an elaborate header.
Mwani was able to add the second goal for the French in the 62nd minute
The goal came after a wonderful cross from Lucas Dignier, which Mwani rose to with all skill before heading in to score the net.
The match witnessed the expulsion of French star Aurelien Chouamini after receiving a second warning in the 76th minute after an intervention on Youri Tielemans, the Belgian star.
The Belgian players tried to score the equalizer in the remaining minutes, but their attempts were not crowned with success, so the match ended with a deserved French victory.
France raised its points tally to 10, while Belgium ranks second with 9 points.
The Belgian national team is awaiting a heavy-caliber match in the next round when it plays against Italy on November 14 in Brussels.
