Al Ain will host Qatari side Al Sadd today, Monday, in the first round of the 2024-25 AFC Champions League.

Al Ain will meet Al Sadd at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, at 8:00 PM UAE time, and 7:00 PM Saudi Arabia and Egypt time.

The Emirati team, the champion of last season’s AFC Champions League, is looking forward to starting its journey in the new continental championship by achieving victory over Al Sadd in today’s match on its home ground and in front of its large fans who will attend in the stands of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

The team achieved EyeAl-Ittihad won the AFC Champions League title last season with merit after beating Uzbekistan’s Nassif, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal in the knockout stages, then beating Japan’s Yokohama in the final.

Al Ain had lost the first leg of the AFC Champions League final to Yokohama in Japan 2-1, but came back in the second leg at home and won 5-1 to regain the Asian title after a long absence since the first coronation in 2003.
