Al-Ahly’s expected lineup against Modern Sport today
Swiss Marcel Koller, Al-Ahly’s coach, intends to field the Palestinian trio Wissam Abu Ali, Hussein El-Shahat and Taher Mohamed to lead the Red Devils to face Modern Sport today.
The expected lineup of Al-Ahly against Modern Sport will be as follows:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shenawy.
Defense: Karim Fouad, Rami Rabia, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Mohamed Hany.
Midfield: Akram Tawfik, Marawan Attia, Imam Ashour.
Attack: Hussein El Shahat, Wissam Abu Ali and Taher Mohamed.
It is noteworthy that the South African duo Percy Tau and Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba” returned to the Al-Ahly club roster to face Modern Sport today, after the former recovered from injury and the latter’s readiness after being excluded from the previous matches by a technical decision from the Swiss Marcel Koller, as a disciplinary measure due to his behavior against his assistant Harald Gamperli.
Al-Ahly club defeated Pyramids 3-2 last Friday in the fourteenth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ahly Club is ranked second in the Egyptian League Championship with 60 points, while Modern Sport is ranked fourth with 47 points.
