Kohler backtracks on Percy Tau and Reda Selim’s departure
According to what was published by Al-Watan newspaper, the Swiss Marcel Koller decided to continue the duo Percy Tau and Reda Selim in the ranks of Al-Ahly Club during the next season, after the administration allocated small amounts to include deals this summer.
The newspaper indicated that the Swiss Marcel Koller’s fear of the departure of Percy Tau and Reda Selim next summer without the Al-Ahly club management contracting with equally competent replacements was behind his withdrawal from the decision to approve the departure of the South African and Moroccan duo during the coming period.
Al-Jarida stressed that Marcel Koller will allow Percy Tau and Reda Selim to leave if a tempting financial offer reaches the Al-Ahly club management, in addition to assuring him of contracting with two alternatives of the same quality and efficiency.
The newspaper explained that the Al-Ahly club management agreed with Marcel Koller in his decision regarding the continuation of Reda Selim and Percy Tau next season, especially in light of the weak financial offers that reached them throughout the past period.
