Enrique wants to sign Laporte for PSG
According to several Spanish and Saudi press reports, Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, asked his club’s management to sign Spanish Aymeric Laporte, defender of Al-Nassr, to strengthen the French team’s defense this summer.
Reports confirmed that Aymeric Laporte is attracting the attention of Atletico Madrid, who are negotiating with the player recently and the negotiations are going positively, in order to include him to strengthen the defense of the Rojiblancos, during the next season.
Reports indicated that Real Madrid is also seeking to sign Aymeric Laporte, but in the event that the player terminates his contract with Al-Nassr, in order to obtain his services for free.
Aymeric Laporte joined the Saudi Al-Nassr club in the summer of 2023, coming from Manchester City, England, on a 3-year contract.
According to Spanish press reports, the Al-Nassr club management refuses to let Aymeric Laporte leave the team for free and wants to get the same financial compensation that it paid to Manchester City a year ago, in order to agree to sell him this summer.
