The Super Cup will be held between Al-Ahly, the African Champions League title holder, and its opponent, Al-Ahly, the African Confederation Cup champion.
Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper said that the historical conflict between the two poles will be renewed, but away from Cairo, as the confrontation will start in Riyadh.
The newspaper explained that Al-Ahly is technically and administratively stable after winning the Egyptian League, while Zamalek won third place.
Al-Riyadh newspaper reviewed the confrontations between coaches Marcel Koller and Jose Gomez in 3 previous matches, and that Koller won the Egypt Cup with two clean goals and won the league 2-0 after the opponent withdrew.

She pointed out that the Portuguese coach took revenge by winning the first leg of the league match with a score of 2-1.
The newspaper covered the last 10 African confrontations between the two rivals, with Al-Ahly winning 6 times, Zamalek winning once, and 3 draws.
Zamalek had previously won the African Super Cup against Al-Ahly in 1994 by one goal to nil, and wants a second win, while the traditional rival seeks revenge.
Al-Ahly, the most decorated African Super Cup winners, wants to win the ninth cup, while the White Knights are seeking the fifth championship.
The Al-Ahly and Zamalek match will start at 9:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time, 10:00 PM Abu Dhabi time.
