viagramof – Saudi club Al-Kholod has signed a contract with Aliou Dieng, the midfielder for the Egyptian team Al-Ahly.

A source from within Al-Kholod Club revealed to the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Watan” that the Portuguese Paulo Duarte, the team’s technical director, preferred Dieng over other options.

The Saudi club signed the player on loan for one season, and included a clause in the contract allowing him to renew the loan for another season if Dieng succeeds with the team.

The Malian player has not been part of the Red Devils’ starting lineup recently, having played 21 matches so far in the 2023-2024 season.

Al-Ahly of Egypt

The midfielder made 209 appearances for the African giants, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists.

The Red Devils will clash with Pyramids in a postponed match from the 14th round tomorrow, Friday.

The title holder aims for the 13th consecutive victory and to reach 60 points and reduce the gap with the leader Pyramids with 68 points to only 8 points, with 4 postponed matches for the champion.

The Al-Ahly and Pyramids match will start on July 12, at 9:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time, 10:00 PM Abu Dhabi time.
