Saleh Al-Shehri is close to joining Al-Ittihad
According to what was published by the newspaper “Asharq Al-Awsat”, Saleh Al-Shehri, the former Al-Hilal striker, will soon arrive at the Al-Ittihad camp in Spain, to sign with the Dean in order to take official photos and undergo medical examinations and physical tests, before the official announcement of his inclusion and participation in group training.
The newspaper indicated that the Al-Ittihad club management is keen to include Saleh Al-Shehri, after the Moroccan Abderrazak Hamdallah is close to leaving this summer, to be the third striker in the dean’s squad during the next season, next to the French Karim Benzema and the young Talal Haji.
Saleh Al-Shehri left the Saudi Al-Hilal club at the end of last June, by decision of the Portuguese Jorge Jesus, the team’s coach, due to the lack of need for his services during the next season.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ittihad Club concluded two deals this summer, namely Houssem Aouar from Roma and Moaz Faqihi from Al-Hilal.
