Al-Shabab is awaiting polarization approval to resolve the Rafa Silva deal
According to what was published by the Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper, the management of Al-Shabab Club sent a letter last Thursday to the Recruitment and Financial Sustainability Committees in order to approve the inclusion of the Portuguese Rafa Silva and requested a quick response to its request for fear of the collapse of the deal, but without a response despite the passage of 6 days.
Al-Shabab Saudi Club officials obtained Rafa Silva’s approval to move to the team next season with a 3-year contract, following the expiration of his contract with his current team, Benfica of Portugal.
The newspaper explained that Mohammed Al-Munajim, president of the Saudi Al-Shabab Club, was the one who completed the contract deal with Rafa Silva, with a contract until June 2027.
It is noteworthy that the summer transfer period in the Saudi League will begin on July 18 and continue until September 2.
