Domingos and Suarez de Oliveira added in statements published by Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper: “The problem we are facing, which is that the news we have from the committee regarding the player recruitment program is not positive.”
He continued: “I fear that if decisions are not made in a timely manner, we will not be able to prepare for the next season in the way that Al-Ittihad and its fans deserve.”
Al-Ittihad Club tied with Al-Khaleej 1-1 yesterday, Thursday, in the thirty-second round of the Saudi League Championship.
Al-Ittihad Club failed to achieve any victory in the last 4 consecutive matches in the Saudi League championship after drawing with Al-Khaleej and losing to Al-Ittifaq with Khumasiyya, Abha and Al-Shabab, with the same score of 1-3.
Al-Ittihad Club occupies fifth place in the Saudi Professional League standings with 51 points from 15 victories, 6 draws and 11 defeats.
