Real Madrid sets the financial ceiling for the Alphonso Davies purchase deal
Spanish reports had previously indicated that Real Madrid wanted to wait until the end of the 2024/2025 season to sign Davies for free after the end of his contract with the Bavarians.
Bayern Munich will be keen to sell Davies this summer to avoid losing him for free at the end of next season.
According to a report published by the website Football Spain Real Madrid’s management is committed to the option of contracting Davies this summer under one condition.
The report indicated that Real Madrid would not agree to buy Davies for more than 40 million euros.
Bayern Munich will have to negotiate on this basis with Real Madrid if it wants to conclude the deal in the summer Mercato.
Signing a new left-back is not a top priority for Real Madrid, especially since the team already has several distinguished players, including Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia.
Davies is 23 years old and is good at playing in the left-back position, and his contract with Bayern Munich expires in June 2025.
Davies played for Bayern Munich in 195 matches, scoring 11 goals and making 31 goals.
