The England international completed a season-long loan move from the Blues before the summer window closed, with the four-time Premier League winner continuing his career in London.
Raheem Sterling spoke about this new step in his career with Mikel Arteta’s team: “I am very happy, it is a transfer that may have been delayed but I wanted it.”

“Looking at everything, I would say that this suits me perfectly, to be in a football club like this, where you can see the hunger and desire year after year, this is the way I am as a person,” he continued.
Raheem is a player that manager Mikel Arteta knows well, having previously worked together at Manchester City for three-and-a-half years, and he said of his new manager: “He is a fantastic man and a fantastic character, to see him come here and make his mark on this amazing club, it says a lot about him.”
