FilGoal website revealed that Adel underwent medical tests as soon as he arrived at the national team camp due to a complaint of an injury.

Medical examinations have shown that Ibrahim suffers from an adductor muscle injury. He is currently undergoing a rehabilitation program and will join group training within 3 days.

It is difficult for the player to play next Friday’s match due to his current injury, and even if he leaves, he will not be able to play.

Captain Hany Saeed, the sports director of Pyramids Club, stated that he had asked the Olympic team to remove Ibrahim from the camp.

Pyramids’ sporting director said that in light of the team’s urgent need for all its players during the Egyptian Premier League competitions, in which Pyramids is competing for the title, topping the standings to date, Pyramids Club requested that player Ibrahim Adel be allowed to return to the club starting Wednesday, to join the team’s training to participate in the club’s league match scheduled for next Friday.

He stressed that Pyramids Club will guarantee Ibrahim Adel’s return immediately after the match to join the national team camp, including flights and transportation costs borne by the club.

Ehab El-Komy, a member of the Football Association’s board of directors, confirmed that if Pyramids requested this, it would be difficult for Adel to leave in light of the mission’s travel to France tomorrow, Wednesday.
